Keep Your glass clean!!!
If left dirty for too long it will etch in the glass.
Do not use products that contain ammonia to clean glass

Vacuum the unit often
The fan draws air off the floor that is laden with dirt/pet hair and can prematurely wear the fan out if not cleaned

Change Batteries Yearly
I recommend you replace the batteries the first time you turn it on in the fall
Use quality batteries!!! Cheap batteries leak and can ruin your control/remote. (I use Duracell)

Should I leave the pilot on or off???
